Which PA systems does ATOMAT hire out in Zurich?
ATOMAT hires three PA systems in Zurich: Void Acoustics as a high-end club PA for up to 500 people (from CHF 1100/day), Turbosound TMS-2 + TSE 218 as a festival horn stack for up to 800 people (from CHF 750/day), and JBL Vintage as character sound for bars and intimate clubs up to 100 people (from CHF 480/day). Plus DJ equipment from Pioneer, Allen & Heath, Resør Rotary and Technics.
What is the difference between Void Acoustics, Turbosound and JBL Vintage?
Void Acoustics is a modern high-end club PA with Air Motion tops and Stasys X V2 subs — precise, immersive sound for up to 500 people. Turbosound TMS-2 + TSE 218 is a classic horn stack with massive headroom, optimised for open air and festivals up to 800 people. JBL Vintage delivers warm character sound through classic 2-way horns — ideal for bars, intimate clubs and private events up to 100 people.
Which PA system suits which audience size?
JBL Vintage covers up to 100 people (bar, intimate spaces). Void Acoustics covers up to 500 people (club, festival, corporate). Turbosound covers up to 800 people (open air, festival, large outdoor events). For larger events, systems can be extended on request.
What DJ equipment can I hire from ATOMAT?
Allen & Heath Xone:96 mixer (CHF 120/day), Resør Rotary 2533 mixer (CHF 150/day), Pioneer CDJ-2000 Nexus media player (CHF 100/day) and Technics 1210 MK2 turntable (CHF 100/day). DJ monitoring (headphones, floor wedges) and DJ tables on request.
How much does PA hire in Zurich cost?
Daily rates as dry hire: JBL Vintage from CHF 480, Turbosound from CHF 750, Void Acoustics from CHF 1100. Transport, setup, tuning or full service on request.
How far in advance do I need to book PA equipment?
Ideally 2 days before the event. We're also very flexible for short-notice requests — just inquire directly and we'll check availability immediately.
How does the booking process work?
Inquiry via the contact form, then you'll receive a quote within 24h. The reservation is confirmed once accepted. Delivery on the event day, or the day before if needed.
Which payment methods does ATOMAT accept?
Invoice, TWINT and cash payment.
Does ATOMAT provide setup and sound engineer or equipment only?
Three service levels: dry hire (you pick up and set up yourself), transport & setup (we deliver, set up, tune, dismantle), and full service (we stay at the mixing desk on site). The last two levels are available on request.
Does ATOMAT deliver across Switzerland?
Yes — Zurich, Winterthur, Lucerne, Bern, Basel, Zug and Switzerland-wide. Delivery costs vary by location, lowest in the Zurich area.
How long does setup and soundcheck take?
Depending on the system, 1–3 hours. With full service we provide specific time windows in advance.
Is insurance included in the rental price?
No. The renter is responsible for the equipment during the rental period. We recommend taking out separate event insurance.
Which system suits open air vs. indoor?
Outdoor and open air: Turbosound TMS-2 + TSE 218 is primarily optimised for outdoor use. Void Acoustics also works outdoors (up to 500 people). Indoor: all three systems — JBL Vintage for intimate spaces, Void Acoustics for clubs and larger indoor events.
Which system for wedding, corporate event, club or festival?
Wedding (50–150 people): JBL Vintage or Void Acoustics. Corporate event (100–500 people): Void Acoustics. Club event: Void Acoustics or JBL Vintage. Festival / open air (200–800 people): Turbosound.
What is the minimum rental period?
1-day minimum hire. For multi-day events or weekend packages, please inquire.
